Up for sale are 72 pieces (not counting the lids for the coffee pot and the sugar bowl) of Royal Albert’s most popular pattern of china, Old Country Roses. The back stamp shows that 71 pieces of this fine bone china were manufactured between the 1960s and 1970s in England. The one exception to this is the large basket which was made probably in the 1990s and was made in China. The dishes are Coffee pot and lid 10 1/2 inches high Large basket 17 inches long and 8 inches wide 8 Bread Plates 6 1/4 inches in diameter 3 Oval Vegetable Serving Bowls 9 inches in length 8 Cereal Bowls 6 1/4 inches in diameter 7 Small Sauce Bowls 5 1/2 inches in diameter 2 Handled Cale Plates or Serving Platters 10 14 inches (counting handles) in length Covered Butter Dish 7 Cups 8 Saucers 2 Sets of Salt and Pepper Shakers 8 Luncheon Plates 8 1/8 inches in diameter Creamer and Covered Sugar Bowl with Under Plate Tray 11 1/2 inches long 2 Large Platters 15 inches long The dishes appear unused with only a rare “stacking” mark. It is all marked 1962 England except the shakers (see the picture of the bottom of them) This is a used service out of an Estate, it is in wonderful condition, a couple of the plates were even in their plastic sleeves and I think new and unused.
