A ROYAL ALBERT VINTAGE OLD COUNTRY ROSES. LARGE OVAL SERVING TRAY – VERY RARE ITEM (Melamine top, metal riser & handles, felt base) Height to top of handles is approximately 5.5cm (2.255). Length to edges of handles is approximately 50.5cm (20). Width is approximately 31.5cm (12.25). In good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. Some usage staining / marks to top surface. Felt base in good condition. I will amend the invoice before you pay. ANNMARIE’S PINK ROSE SHOPPE. IT HAS PORCELAIN HANDLES ACCENTED WITH THE MUCH LOVED ROYAL ALBERT OLD COUNTRY ROSES PATTERN AND A KNOB ON TOP OF THE LID WITH A PINK ROSE ON IT. THE BOTTOM PIECE IS EMBOSSED WITH ROSES IN THE METAL. THE INSIDE DIMENSIONS MEASURE APPROX. 12.5 INCHES FROM END TO END, 16.75 INCHES FROM HANDLE TO HANDLE, AND 3.5 INCHES TALL. IT IS MADE TO HAVE A PYREX STYLE GLASS BAKER (NOT INCLUDED) SIT INSIDE THE BOTTOM METAL PIECE, AND THEN YOU COVER THE GLASS BAKER WITH THE METAL LID TO KEEP YOUR FOOD WARM. YOU WILL HAVE TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN GLASS BAKER , BUT FROM MY RESEARCH, IT ORIGINALLY CAME WITH A MARINEX BRAND GLASS BAKER MEASURING 13.5 INCHES WIDE FROM HANDLE TO HANDLE. IN MY OPINION, IT IS IN GOOD PRE-OWNED CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICS, AND PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A VINTAGE ITEM AND IT IS NOT IN PERFECT NEW CONDITION. I WIPED IT DOWN WITH MY SILVER CLEANING CLOTH, BUT WILL LEAVE IT TO THE FUTURE OWNER TO FURTHER POLISH THE HARDER TO REMOVE TARNISH SPOTS. THERE ARE NOT ANY DENTS ON THE SERVING DISHES AND THE BOTTOM PIECE SEEMS TO BE STRUCTURALLY SOUND (THE LEGS AND HANDLES ARE PRETTY TIGHT). BOTH PIECES SHOW LIGHT NORMAL WEAR FROM USE AND SOME TARNISH FROM AGE.
