I’ve looked over the teapot carefully and the only reason I can see that Royal Albert would have deemed this teapot as 2nd quality would be a small piece of missing gold gilt from inside the rim of the teapot and a bit of stray gilt underneath the missing piece of gold gilt on the inner rim, I’ve attached a photo 11 for you to see. This imperfection does not affect the Display or Function of this teapot, so a bargain to be had. Royal Albert Back Stamp.
