The pattern is old country roses and it’s from 1998. Each glass board is 21.5″ long and 9″ wide with button legs on the bottom. Please see photos for close detail. Little to no damage whatsoever. No chips, cracks, breaks, fading to flowers, or even scratches! The only signs of ware are that the button legs are yellowed and one button has been replaced by a clear one. Truly a stunning set and these are incredibly hard to find! More often you see the much wider glass boards. Up for your consideration is this lovely Old Country Roses sterling silver plated serving dish. Royal Doulton released a line of serving pieces to supplement their classic dinner ware. Long ago discontinued, this serving piece is a collectors prize. A rare and sought after item that is perfect for holidays! The rectangular frame of the serving dish is heavy silver plated metal and features several raised clusters of roses around its sides. Two handles make it easy to carry, especially important when the baking dish is inside the frame. Handles are glazed white bone china with an classic Old Country Roses posy in the middle. The slightly domed lid also has a bone China handle with a rosebud in the center. Baking dish is oven safe and made of heavy tempered glass with handles. Condition is gently used. As the piece is silver plated, it should be polished with silver polish before use. Its in great shape for being over 25 years old with no dings, dents, or scratches. Original box is included for storage, it is battered from age but has been carefully repaired. This was part of my sisters extensive OCR collection. It graced the table for her traditional Christmas morning breakfast of chicken crepes and Mimosas for many years, right up until she moved and her holiday dishes were all broken. It needs a good home so it can get back to work! My Sis is paring down her household and moved to a condo now that her kids are grown and moved out, so Im listing a lot of her household goods.
