Arge soup tureen, covered with a fitted lid, made in the famous pattern of “Old Country Roses”. This is a vintage piece marked 1962, still MADE IN ENGLAND, not like current new pieces. It’s a statement piece–beautifully completed in the bright burgundy and yellow roses, green leaves and trimmed in 22k gold–perfect as a centerpiece display. The tureen itself measures 10-3/4 inches across in the interior, from handle-to-handle the tureen is 14 inches across and with the lid in place, it’s stands 9 inches tall. The tureen comfortably holds about 2-1/2 quarts of soup or any other dish. Gorgeous piece, just in time for the holidays. Excellent vintage condition, no chipping, cracks or crazing and the gold rim is intact. Please view pictures for condition.
