Royal Albert Old Country Roses Large Washstand TeapotPaul Cardew Design. The washstand measures appx 8.5″ tall x 11″ long (from handle to spout) x 4.5 wide. It is in very good pre-owned condition, I see no chips, cracks. It looks that the hair brush handle has been repair, see photos 7,8,9,10 and 11 for details. Collectible Royal Albert Cardew Design Earthenware Old Country Roses Vintage Washstand Teapot. This Large Victorian Washstand Teapot was made under license modeled and handcrafted by. Cardew design for Royal Albert in 1996. As shown in the images the Washstand Teapot features a large stand with a porcelain counter top containing an Old Country Roses pitcher and bowl for washing, an OCR towel and soap dish, complete with bar of soap, and a gold brush. The backsplash is done in OCR tiles. The washstand is caramel in color. There is very light crazing on the china pieces atop the washstand. The teapot is earthenware made in England 1996, as stated on the bottom backstamp and in excellent condition. The colors are bright and the gold trim shows no wear. Wide from handle to spout x 5 1/2 deep side to side. It has been displayed in a china cabinet for many years and has never been used.
