VINTAGE ROYAL ALBERT OLD COUNTRY ROSES TEA SET WITH LARGE TEAPOT. This pretty vintage rose patterned tea set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or any fading to the gilding apart from one saucer and the tea strainer dish and there is also a little dark mark on the cake stand (please see close up macro photos, any white marks are just light reflection). Spent most of it’s time in a cabinet and looks like hardly been used. It is all marked by Royal Albert, made in England and has a 1st quality backstamps (two different types) c1960’s-70’s. The set consists of. 1 x Large 2.5pint Teapot – approx 19.5cm high x 25cm spout to handle x 16cm. 1 x Cake Stand – approx 25.5cm high x 27cm (will come flat packed). 1 x Sugar Bowl – approx 6cm high x 11.3cm diameter. 1 x Jug – approx 11cm high x 12cm spout to handle x 8.5cm. 1 x Tea strainer Stand/Spoon Rest – approx 13cm diameter x 10cm. 6 x Cups – approx 8cm high x 11cm diameter including handle. 6 x Saucers -approx 14cm diameter. 6 x Plates – approx 16cm diameter. This is a lovely vintage 1st quality Royal Albert Old Country Roses tea set, that looks beautiful when in use. All my items are very well packaged as I know how they can be treated during transit.
