Arge soup tureen, covered with a fitted lid, made in the famous pattern of “Old Country Roses”. This is a vintage piece marked 1962, still MADE IN ENGLAND, not like current new pieces. It’s a statement piece–beautifully completed in the bright burgundy and yellow roses, green leaves and trimmed in 22k gold–perfect as a centerpiece display. The tureen itself measures 10-3/4 inches across in the interior, from handle-to-handle the tureen is 14 inches across and with the lid in place, it’s stands 9 inches tall. The tureen comfortably holds about 2-1/2 quarts of soup or any other dish. Gorgeous piece, just in time for the holidays.
