This vintage Royal Albert “Old Country Roses” Le Petite Mini Tea Set is a charming addition to any Old Country Roses pattern collection or a very special gift for a little girl that loves tea parties. It was made in 2002 in England and is Victorian style. On pure white fine bone china, each piece is decorated with this iconic & collectible pattern (that originated in 1962) of beautiful pink and yellow roses and has hand painted 24K gold trim. The set has a total of 9 pieces and includes 2 teacups and saucers, a serving platter, a creamer, an open sugar bowl, and a lidded teapot. Teacups measure 2 1/2″ high & 1 3/4″ wide, the saucers are 2 3/4″ in diameter, the sugar is 2″ high & 1 7/8″ in diameter, the creamer measures 2 3/4″ high, 2 3/4″ from handle to spout, the teapot stands 4 3/4″ tall & 5 1/4″ from handle to spout and the fluted edge platter is 8 3/4″ in diameter. The bone china set is handmade and finished with a glaze, making it easy to fill, clean and use. Every piece (except the teapot lid) is marked on the bottom with the company name, rose image logo and pattern name. The set comes in its original round hatbox-style box, making it a perfect gift for all occasions. The box lid slides on and is tied to secure it with a cream colored satin ribbon. It is in brand new, pristine condition and is in the original box with foam molded and plastic packaging, perfect for safe storage. The box does have some minor wear on the lid.
