The tureen is free of chip, crack, crazing and the gilt is intact on the rim and handle. It is first quality and of course, made in England. Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful vintage Royal Albert large teapot, produced in their most popular design Old Country Roses and bearing the original back-stamp for production between 1962 and 1974. This lovely bone china piece is in good used condition having no chips, cracks, crazing or repair. There are a couple of utensil marks and some minor gild and pattern wear from occasional use, to be expected. There doesn’t appear to be any serious wear to the gilding, and the pot pours beautifully. A very nice piece of Old Country Roses for the collector. The teapot stands about 19cm tall and measures 25cm handle-to-spout. Unpacked, it weighs in at 833gms. Don’t miss out! To see my other items! This is a VERY DESIRABLE FIRST EDITION – NEVER USED OR DISPLAYED & in 100% PERFECT MINT CONDITION – ORIGINAL BACK STAMP – FIRST QUALITY – LARGE FOOTED TEAPOT w ORIGINAL MATCHING LID, AND MATCHING FOOTED TRIVET in the MOST FABULOUS rose pattern of all time – OLD COUNTRY ROSES by ROYAL ALBERT – ALL WITH GOLD STIPPLED RIMS – this back stamp was used from 1962-73 only and this falls early in those years. Pattern is so romantic and fits perfectly with so many styles ranging from Victorian to Shabby Chic. It is bursting with rose blooms from an English garden – all in a brilliant array on sparkling white bone china porcelain with STIPPLED gold trim, which you will find only on the older original versions – newer versions are not stippled. Also, it has the very wide open top – perfectly circular large opening. OLD COUNTRY ROSES is just the ultimate in teapot designs because it is so beautiful & shapely from its fluted edges, stippled gold rims, and curvy elegant handle to its unsurpassed feminine florals and brilliant colors. All 3 pieces are 100% PERFECT, UNUSED, 100% MINT CONDITION which means they are immaculate, never used, have no staining, no fading, no scratches, no wear to gold, no dulling to gold, perfect sparkling glaze, no crazing, no flea bites, no chips, no cracks, no defects, no flaws, & no faults at all. All the elegant gold trim & rose artwork is perfect and the interior is immaculate & white as snow. The 1st back stamp is on both the teapot & the trivet and they are both 1st quality as well with no paint missing from any of the flowers on the back stamp (incomplete roses is what they did to indicate any imperfection in the piece).
