Unfortunately, the original box does have condition issues (tears) along the front bottom. Each piece of flatware is carefully handcrafted from the finest heavyweight 18/10 stainless steel with gold accent. It is recommended that the flatware be hand washed only due to the gold accent. This set contains 12 dinner forks, 12 salad forks, 12 teaspoons, 12 dinner spoons, 12 dinner knives, 1 butter knife, 1 sugar shell spoon, 1 serving fork, 1 serving spoon and 1 pierced serving spoon. Also included in the boxed set is a lacquered Old Country Roses chest with a felt cloth lining to store and protect the flatware set. 1 serving set is still attached in their display box – the 5 serving pieces are still attached in their display box. The other 55 pieces of flatware are still sealed in original plastic bags and in original opened cardboard boxes.
