This is a Beautiful Large Teapot known as “Welsh Dresser” by Paul Cardew in the beautiful OLD COUNTRY ROSES pattern by Royal Albert. Designed by Paul Cardew. This is one of the teapots made in early 1997 or late 1998. An absolutely stunning and highly collectable teapot! The teapot itself is in the shape of a Welsh Dresser, or China Hutch, filled with the wonderful Old Country Roses China! There is a Teapot, plates, cup/saucers, vase, soup bowl, platter, milk jug and even a wonderful soup tureen all trimmed lavishly in gold! . There are even 2 books concerning Roses sitting on the hutch! The lid is in the shape of a basket sitting on old newpapers, and the article is concerning “Old country Roses Teapots” of course! This wonderful teapot measures 12.5 inches wide and 10 inches tall. It is trimmed lavishly throughout in gold. This teapot is discontinued and is very hard to find.
