Vintage original Old Country Roses 23 Piece Tea set by Royal Albert. This tea set has been in the family since 1970. It has never been used. Immaculate condition- The fine porcelain is white and translucent. The Gilding is in excellent condition- No chips or hairline cracks- Pattern is sharp and colour is still vibrant. The quality is that of the first series that was launched in 1962. All pieces display the First quality back stamp. A sought after series as it was manufactured under strict quality control conditions and overseen by the designer -This particular Tea set was brought in England in 1970. I have taken the photos outside in natural light. 1 x Cake platter 26 cm long x 23 cm wide. 1 x Milk large Jug 11 cm tall. 1 x large sugar bowl 10.5 cm wide x 6 cm tall. 6 x tea cups 6.8 cm tall x 9 cm wide. 6 x saucers 14 cm wide. 6 x cake plates 15.5 cm wide. 2 x small flat underplates 12 cm wide.
