Royal Albert Old Country Roses. 5 piece placesetting for 4. Many sets out their today are made in Indonesia or China, this set is handcrafted in England. Royal Albert was established in Longston England by Thomas Wild in 1896. Harold Holdcroft designed Old Country Roses in 1962, he combined deep red roses with the soft tea roses and the delicacy of blush pink, softened with green leaf. He completed the design with a burnished 22 k gold rim. This classic pattern has been loved by many and has become a collectible. As Royal Dalton transitioned over the years since 2005 all pieces are now manufactured in Indonesia, China.. This collection is marked England 1962 Royal Albert LTD. And is in very good condition no cracks, chips nor crazing. These were my personal favorite and I have enjoyed them for Special occasions, they make for a beautiful tea table. The set contains the following pieces. 4 cups and 4 saucers. All pieces will be wrapped well with bubble wrap, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.
