Lovely Royal Albert Old Country Roses Bone China Tea Set for 2. 1962 Royal Albert Ltd. Royal Albert was established in Longston England by Thomas Wild in 1896. Harold Holdcroft designed Old Country Roses in 1962, he combined deep red roses with the soft tea roses and the delicacy of blush pink, softened with green leaf. He completed the design with a burnished 22 k gold rim. This classic pattern has been loved by many and has become a collectible. Up until 2005 all pieces were made in England, and are marked as such. All of these pieces are marked England except the sugar bowl with lid. Pieces are in very good condition no cracks, chips nor crazing. A little wear on gold handle of creamer. This is my part of my personal collection, and I have enjoyed many beautiful teas using this set. Contains the following pieces. Tea pot with lid 6 cup. Height: 5 1/4 in. 1 sugar bowl with lid. 1 cookie/tea sandwich platter 11 7/8″ x 7″. 2 cups and 2 saucers.
