Beautiful red and pink roses form a band around the teacup and saucer of this beloved Royal Albert pattern known as Old English Rose. The heavy gold gilding adds richness and sophistication. This particular cup is an early version of this pattern (Royal Albert Crown China) produced between 1927 – 1935. This teacup set is in great vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, fading, or repairs. There is a light wear of the gold on the saucer, on one side and some on the top and back of the teacup handle, due to use, as shown in pictures. Minor manufacturing flaws, imperfections, and slight wear and scratches may be present, giving the age of the item. Both have a nicely high ping when hit. Please see photos for details and condition.
