This Royal Albert Old Country Roses tea set is new and unused and in excellent condition with no signs of any wear or damage (see photos). The gold trim is in perfect condition, and the colors are vivid. This tea pot, creamer, sugar bowl, and four cups and saucers are in the Montrose shape. This set was manufactured in England by Royal Albert. The company introduced this pattern in 1962, more than 60 years ago, and it quickly became (and remains) one of the most popular patterns ever created in English bone china. This Old Country Roses tea pot will hold six cups. It is just slightly less than 10 1/2 inches in diameter when measured from the outer edge of the handle to the opposite rim of the spout. With the lid in place, it is approximately 7 1/2 inches tall. The finish is glossy white with a thick band of gold on the rim. Sprays of the “old country roses” decorate the exterior of this tea pot (see photos). The Old Country Roses creamer will hold eight ounces, and it is 4 3/8 inches tall. It is approximately 4 1/2 inches wide when measured from the outer edge of the handle to the outer edge of the spout. The sugar bowl is 4 inches tall with the lid in place. When measured from the outer edge of the handle to the outer edge of the opposite handle, the width is 5 1/2 inches wide. It will hold 11 ounces. The saucers are 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cups are 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches in diameter when measured from rim to rim. When measured from the outer edge of the handle to the opposite rim, the width is approximately 4 1/4 inches.
