All plates and cups and saucers are new, no scratches, wear or damage of any kind. The only piece that was used is the teapot and it has no chips, nicks or cracks. The only piece that has any damage is the top small plate on the three tiered tray which has a crack from being over tightened. It is still useable and I will include an extra small plate replacement that anyone with a Dremel rotary tool can drill a hole in for you so you can use no problem and have a perfect 3 tier tray.
