Very large 2½ pint novelty teapot by Royal Albert. The pot features the classic Old Country Roses pattern. The lid is a table set for tea, with a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl, milk jug, cup & saucer and two plates of sandwiches, all decorated with the Old Country Roses pattern. Royal Albert Old Country Roses mark to base of pot. Marked’Not for Food Use’. Approximate Size: 8″ tall, 11″ from spout to handle. Capacity 1800ml or over 2½ pints. Condition: In very good decorative condition. Small piece missing from the larger sandwich plate on the lid – please see photos. No further chips, cracks or repairs. A ROYAL A LBERT VINTAGE OLD COUNTRY ROSES. LARGE NOVELTY TEAPOT – RARE SIZE. (Made in England, marked as 1st Quality when manufactured, 1998 written on backstamp). Height to finial of lid is approximately 19cm (7.5). Width from spout to edge of handle is approximately 25cm (9.75). In good condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. Gilt in generally good condition with some missing as is usual with this design. All prices in GBP (British pounds). I will amend the invoice before you pay. Rare Royal Albert Old Country Roses Novelty Teapot, made under licence by Cardew pottery; in the form of a Kitchen Sink with lots of Old Country Roses items to be washed! Produced in a limited edition 2000, this is number 2. It measures 6.75″ high and 12″ wide from handle to tip of spout. The teapot is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, etc; some light crazing to the glaze on some of the items in the sink. It is first quality and fully marked on the base as shown, with the limited edition number. UK buyers can also pay by Cheque or Postal order. Once I know you’ve got it and are happy, I will leave feedback.
