Old Country Roses is one of the most popular bone china pottery patterns ever produced by the Royal Albert China company. This set includes a teapot and lid, and a small candy dish. The finish is glossy, gilding is in perfect condition. The remaining family member is now downsizing his collections. He recalls purchasing most of the Royal Albert pieces he owns either from Selfridges or Harrod’s during visits to the UK in the 1960’s. The teapot is the 1.5 pint version measuring about 5 inches deep, with a just under 4 opening. Lid fits perfectly, shows now chips, cracks, crazing or hazing. The dish has the same backstamp, is slightly fluted and measures 4.5 inches x 5 inches. Pieces come double boxed, wrapped in bubble wrap, tissue, and foam.
